Le port de Marseille Fos dispose d\u2019espaces et d\u2019infrastructures pouvant recevoir \u00e0 la fois des activit\u00e9s maritimes, logistiques et industrielles. Il accueille des entrep\u00f4ts sur deux zones logistiques \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 des terminaux \u00e0 conteneurs de Fos-sur-Mer (Ikea, Maisons du Monde, Geodis\/ Mattel\u2026) ainsi que des industries (raffineries, sid\u00e9rurgie, industrie chimique). Le port dispose \u00e9galement d\u2019un important p\u00f4le de r\u00e9paration navale sur les bassins Est.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son positionnement g\u00e9ostrat\u00e9gique, id\u00e9al pour les \u00e9changes Nord\/Sud, Est\/Ouest et \u00e0 sa quadrimodalit\u00e9 (route, rail, fleuve et pipelines), il constitue la porte Sud de l\u2019Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le port de Marseille Fos se compose de deux bassins compl\u00e9mentaires (Est et Ouest). Les bassins Est (400 hectares), situ\u00e9s \u00e0 Marseille, s\u2019affirment comme un port de proximit\u00e9 en M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e pour les marchandises et les passagers. Les bassins ouest (10 000 hectares), situ\u00e9s sur la zone industrialo-portuaire de Fos-sur-Mer, accessibles aux plus grands navires et d\u00e9di\u00e9s aux grands flux intercontinentaux, b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d\u2019une dynamique d\u2019un port mondial pour l\u2019industrie et la logistique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Soixante lignes r\u00e9guli\u00e8res relient Marseille Fos aux cinq continents avec 150&nbsp; pays connect\u00e9s et 450 ports touch\u00e9s. En 2014, le trafic global du port s\u2019est \u00e9lev\u00e9 \u00e0 78.5 MT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019activit\u00e9 portuaire g\u00e9n\u00e8re 43 500 emplois dans le d\u00e9partement des Bouches-du-Rh\u00f4ne.
